Hachiko, a dog who waited at the train station for his owner to return from work everyday. One day, his owner suffered a heart attack at work and never came home. Hachi continued to wait for his return - appearing exactly when the train was due at the station - for the next nine years.:’(
I cried so hard during this movie. But what really got me was, we were watching it on a Chinese tour bus while we traveled the mountain areas in the west, and the movie was playing in English but with Chinese subtitles. And I remember, as the credits rolled, hearing the sniffling of an extremely old grandpa from China. I looked over and he had taken his glasses off and was crying into a mass of tissues.
anyway, saddest disney movie ever?
